Thankful

Today I am thankful.
I have so many things to be thankful for.
We were able to travel to and from Utah for the Thanksgiving holidays safely. We were able to visit with our families and enjoy a few days off with each other.
I am thankful that we have the opportunity to buy a house that we absolutely love. We get to move in this weekend and we are ecstatic. We are moving to Gilbert. The area is amazing and the community is as well.
I am also thankful that we are looked over and protected every day. I was in an accident on the freeway and I am beyond thankful that someone was watching out for me. I should have ended up in the hospital, but I walked away without a scratch. I am so very thankful that Adelynn and Andrew were not with me. I am so thankful for babysitters and seat belts and insurance and police officers.

I'm thankful for the gospel and the peace it brings to us. Last night we had the opportunity to visit the Mesa temple and see all the Christmas lights. We got to listen to beautiful music and see the nativity scene.

Adelynn loved all the lights. She was enthralled the entire time and she definitely wasn't happy when we made her leave.
Also, it is a strange thing to see the lights at the temple without warm clothes. Normally we would need big coats, gloves, hats, and scarves and we'd still be shivering. Arizona in December is definitely a change! Wearing short sleeves and sandals is awesome! And a little strange.  But we are loving it!

Phoenix

We have been in Phoenix for just about three months and we are absolutely loving it. We love the area and everything there is to do. They have amazing park systems and great public libraries and lots of museums and other fun stuff to do. We are also buying a house and couldn't be more excited about it! We will be moving in just before Christmas, assuming everything goes according to plan.

Andrew is enjoying work. He has to drive quite a bit which he doesn't love but he is loving working with different clients and he likes everything he's learning. He spent the last two weeks in Tucson so Adelynn and I ended up coming back to Utah a week early.

Adelynn is still growing like a weed. She is SO smart and loves to problem solve and figure things out. She is so busy and is all over the place. She never stops going! She is also practicing standing and is even getting brave enough to take a few steps here and there! She loves all foods and is a fantastic eater.

For Halloween Adelynn was an OWL! I didn't manage to get any good pictures but she was super cute!

She has started climbing on anything and everything and she gets into everything!

We were lucky enough to have some beautiful pictures taken of Adelynn for Christmas. Kassie did an amazing job! You should check her out and definitely call her next time you need pictures. Please enjoy my bundle of energy.

End of Summer

Summer is officially over. Well... it doesn't feel like it here. We finally got all moved and settled in to our new place in PHOENIX! That was a whirlwind. It's still usually over 100* every day here so I'm still enjoy summer, but Andrew has started his new job which means that summer is actually over. He is loving his job so far, but it is definitely going to take some getting used to, They like to keep them busy, and this past week he was at a training in Houston, Texas.

Adelynn and I are also adjusting to things down here. We are loving all the shopping and different things to do. We have a pool close so we go swimming all the time.
She just turned nine months and is definitely getting way too big for my liking! She crawls and gets into EVERYTHING. She has six teeth and loves to eat anything and everything. She loves her bath and swimming and she loves to be standing. All the time.

We are missing our families so far away but we are also having lots of fun down here. Everyone just needs to come visit!

And now for our picture overload.
