Portland and an Anniversary

Happy March!

We've had a very busy March so far but it's been a blast.
Andrew is still super busy with school and work so that's always fun. But he got to take a break from all of that and spend a few days in sunny San Fran! He wouldn't take me and I was super bummed. He went down over the first of spring break with a few classmates to interview and network with companies down there. Along with meeting with a few accounting firms they were able to meet with some accountants from the Giants and a few law firms as well. He said it was a blast.

When he got home from that we hopped on a plane the next day to Portland! We had some much fun hanging out on the coast and seeing the sights as well as checking out downtown Portland. We were able to celebrate our 2nd Anniversary!! Holy cow two years! That's slightly crazy. Here is my picture overload.

Did you know it is ILLEGAL to pump your own gas in Oregon?! You can actually go to jail for that!!

This was the view from our condo. We were seriously RIGHT on the beach.

My first view or Portland.

We visited a couple lighthouses in Washington.

Voodoo Doughnuts is HUGE in Portland. They have some of the craziest doughnuts you could ever think of. Of course we had to try them!

It was pretty windy the whole time we were there.

They had waterfalls and little streams and rivers EVERYWHERE!

They have some of the prettiest sunsets I've ever seen. And coastline.

We stayed in Seaside.

The Portland Temple was beautiful! We even saw some people Andrew knew from his mission in the session with us!

Haystack rock looks like a bunch of hay sprouting out of the ocean!

What you can't see in the distance is Washington. This was the bridge we crossed. It was close to a mile long!!!

Everything was so green! And moss covered everything! Seriously everything. It's like it could be St. Patrick's Day everyday. It hangs off rocks, trees, plants, roofs, road signs, and probably anything else you can think of.

We definitely had so much fun! It was a great way to spend our anniversary and I can't wait for the next!

In other unrelated news... I have accepted a new job working as a medical assistant in a dermatology office here in Cedar. I am so excited to be learning new things as well as working DURING THE DAY! Hooray for sleeping at night!

Happy March everyone!
