Sub Zero Temperatures

Saturday night Andrew surprised me by taking me on a date!!! We went to SubZero, an ice cream treatery we had never been to before. For those of you who haven't been it's very cool. First thing you do is pick your base, meaning you can choose if you want ice cream, frozen yogurt, custard, and they even have like non-dairy kinds. So we picked ice cream. Then you get to pick your flavor. Oh my heavens they have so many flavors I still don't know how we were able to choose! They have everything you could possibly want and then some. So we got a cake batter cinnamon flavor. Then you pick your mix-ins. Again, they have so many choices it could make your head spin. Here comes to cool part. Everything up to this point is liquid, but then they put liquid nitrogen in and mix and mix and mix, and about twenty seconds later you have newly frozen ice cream!! Very cool!

Love you babe!!!

Survival Kit

Finals week is right around the corner. And with that comes the stressing, and worrying, and fretting, and losing sleep, and a bit of crying once in a while. I decided that I should lessen the stress as much as possible for Andrew so he could do well on his tests. And so we have...

FINALS SURVIVAL KIT!

He felt so much better he promptly sat down and began studying (with a little help from Katie of course).

General Conference

What a great weekend we had! This weekend we went up north for a few different reasons. We got to go to Andrew's mission reunion and I got to meet a few different people that he served with. We also got to watch  my brother in law, Zack, open his mission call. He gets to serve in the Brisbane, Australia Mission!! Yay for Zack! He leaves for the MTC on August 14th! We are all so excited for him.
We got to hang out with all the family and nephews.

We also got to spend time with my Mitch and Kassie this weekend. They are so good to us. They took us to dinner and then we went bowling!!! Oh my goodness I am terrible! But Kassie was about the same (sorry Kas!) and Mitch and Andrew were both good so it worked out in the end!

Man I've missed them!! It was so good to see them and hang out with them for a while. Hopefully they come down again soon!!
We also got to go to the Sunday morning session of conference.  What an amazing place.

And the best part (even if Andrew disagrees with me).... I have my dogs back!!! Wahoo!!!

They get along much better now.
We hope to be able to have many more weekends like this one. It was so good to see everyone!
