Merry Christmas!

I LOVE Christmas! I love the presents and the decorations and the lights. But mostly I love spending so much time with friends and family. We were able to head up to Salt Lake to see Andrew's family for Christmas a couple weeks before Christmas. We had so much fun. Andrew's sister, KellyAnn was in town from North Carolina! The last time I saw her was on our wedding day, almost two years ago. It was great to see her and her new baby Lexi!

When I say new I really mean 8 months old, new. But she is new to us! She is such a cutie!

This was the only picture I remembered to snap. But we got to play with Seja, Seth, Carter, and Keenan as well. It was so much fun watching them open the presents everyone bought. They loved every minute of it. 

We also went to the temple and did sealings and that was a blast. It was an amazing feeling to be there with most (someone had to watch the kids) of Andrew's family. I really can't wait to go back up and see them. 

We also had some friends over for a Christmas party a few nights ago. Again, me being a slacker, I only  managed to grab a picture of desert! But anywho. We had so much fun. I told Andrew we didn't fit in because one family has a toddler, one has a newborn, and one is expecting. But hey! I like to stand out (wink). 

We had a blast having dinner and watching The Grinch. Then the grownups decided to play the Wii which was so fun! We haven't played in way too long!

I was bored a few days before Christmas so I decided to test my hand at drawing. I'm not the artsy type but  I had lots of fun!

And Christmas is here!! I love Christmas! I had to work Christmas eve and Christmas night so I spent too much time sleeping but it was still tons of fun! 

I have awesome coworkers who like to make the best of having to work.

Katie and Julie both loved the toys they got.

Julie had destroyed hers in about 20 minutes flat.

Even Kassie was feeling the Christmas spirit! She loved and Julie for a while!

Andrew spoiled me this year! He is so good to me I don't know how I got to be so lucky!

Tis The Season

Can you believe it's already December?! Oh my goodness this year has gone by oh so quickly. But I am definitely excited for Christmas to be here! Christmas is my most favoritest holiday ever. And it has definitely hit the Higham house.

Don't you just love those stockings? Those were my great find last year!

Like I said, Christmas has officially arrived. I am even completely done with my Christmas shopping AND it's all wrapped and ready to be delivered!

My mom and I got into the holiday spirit by making two crafts!

The first thing we made was this sign.

Cute, huh? It was really easy. We just got the boards cut at Home Depot and then used stencils to paint it on. We got the stencils at Michael's but I think JoAnne's or even Walmart would have something similar. 

We also made wreaths. I don't have any pictures of hers but I made a Santa Clause wreath.
