I Love the Weekend!!!

This week we were lucky enough to celebrate Presidents' Day!! With this fantastic holiday came the privileged of having a day off school! So... What do we do with our three day weekend?

We give the dog a bath!

We go for early morning hikes! Man it was so cold. Andrew forgot to grab gloves and thought he automatically got to use mine.

We takes naps outside in the sun!

And we make a shirt for Katie to wear to Zach's baseball games!! I hope he is completely embarrassed!

I love having long weekends but the faster I get back to class the faster the semester can be over!! Yay for weekends!!!

Painting

This weekend we decided we wanted to paint our house (I know, what were we thinking)?

Anyways, so we marched on over to Home Depot to see what they had. We ended up finding a 5 gallon bucket (yes you read that right!) of paint that was on sale! Now, I'm not exactly sure what we'll do with a full five gallons unless we decide to paint our whole house, but it was cheaper than the 1 gallon buckets they had!! Anyways, the best part about it, besides getting it on sale, was that it wasn't a miss matched color we just had to be okay with, we got to pick what ever color we wanted to make it!!! Yahoo!! So we decided to go with a brown color and got right to work!

The finished product! Definitely not painting another wall for at least a few days :)

Love Is In The Air

Valentines Day!! Not usually a huge fan but this year was a blast! Andrew had to go to school and I slept most of the day from work the night before.... oh well. We went to Costa that night for dinner! I don't think I've ever stood in line so long at that place.... but it's alright because I definitely wasn't going to make dinner that night! When we got home I had a fun night planned :) it was called... The Game of Love!
